Privacy policy

Match My Paint Color is designed to work without an account and without sending your paint searches, photos, or saved colors to us.

iPhone app

The app does not collect personal data, track you, show advertising, or include third-party analytics. Search, color matching, favorites, recents, label recognition, and photo analysis run on your device.

Camera and photo-library access happen only after you choose those features. Selected images and recognized label text are used for the current matching flow, remain on your device, and are not uploaded to us. The app does not add captured images to your photo library.

Favorites, recents, and catalog release information are stored locally on your iPhone. You can remove favorites and clear recents in the app, and uninstalling the app removes its local data.

Catalog updates

The app may request a public catalog manifest and catalog file from matchpaintcolors.com. Those requests do not include your searches, photos, saved colors, or a user account. As with ordinary web requests, our hosting provider may temporarily process technical connection information such as an IP address to deliver and secure the files.

Website

The public website can be used without an account. Its search and matching tools run in your browser. The site uses Vercel hosting and aggregate web analytics to understand page performance and general usage. We do not use that information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information.

Children

The app is a general-audience utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
