• App version and build from Learn → Support and app version
• Catalog version shown on the same screen
• Your iPhone model and iOS version
• The paint manufacturer, color name, and code involved

Camera and photos

Camera permission is requested only when you choose live capture. If access was denied, open iPhone Settings, find Match My Paint Color, and enable Camera—or use the system photo picker without granting broad library access.

Photo results are confidence-banded candidates, not spectrophotometer measurements. Lighting, sheen, surface texture, age, and camera processing can all change the result; verify finalists with physical samples before buying paint.

Catalog and privacy

The full catalog is bundled for offline use. Update checks can be run fromLearn → Catalog updates. Read the privacy policyfor details about local processing and stored data.
